Gibson les Paul
Gibson Les Paul Painting is a mixed media artwork inspired by one of the most recognizable electric guitars in music. The deep red guitar sits at the centre of the composition, surrounded by layers of sheet music, texture and handwritten details. I wanted the background to become part of the story rather than simply frame the guitar. Pieces of sheet music overlap across the canvas, with references to familiar songs appearing throughout. Against those lighter layers, the darker red guitar becomes the clear focal point.

Gibson Les Paul painting is part of my music paintings, where instruments and music culture become a starting point for experimenting with materials and texture.
