Toronto
Toronto artwork puts one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks at the centre of a textured urban landscape. The CN Tower rises above layers of architecture, while warm golds, soft whites and darker details give the piece an aged, almost weathered character. Living in Toronto, I’m constantly surrounded by the mix of old and new architecture that shapes the city. I wanted this piece to feel familiar without becoming a literal representation. Texture, imperfect lines and layered materials give the skyline a more tactile quality.
